i’ve decided to move on
after 9 months with the company, i’ve decided to leave Xelleration…
i got a message from Doug a while back asking if i wanted to join his company… i came in and talked to them, they gave me an offer. a good offer. one that i know mo could never match, in terms of environment, creativity, and other things… so i’m going for it.
the on eth ing that’s really kept me at Xell are the people that have become my friends… kenrick (well that’s a given really), annie, ois, alden, faizan… not to mention the people who i befriended who are now gone: steve (another given), mike, ben… but i’ve decided to move on, and i’m going to miss them all…
i wish i could say i was completely happy at Xell, and i wish i could say whether i’ll be completely happy at the new place… but, that’s just how it goes in business… the thing i know is that i’ll be able to be more casual and more creative where i’ll be… not just in the ‘artsy’ terms, but also in the programmatic sense as well. there’s one thing about a place that can stimulate you artistically, but to stimulate you programmatically (for those who can understand what i mean), it’s just… something i’ve never really experienced.
so i’m looking forward to the move. the drive may not be that great, but i think this is going to be better for me.
i can’t wait.
